resuscitate, 2017Existing in the expanse between exhaustion and restoration, 'resuscitate' is a sculptural gesture about self-awareness and the pendulum of temporal presence. Dependent on an external power source, a supply parachute wrapped around an industrial floor fan by tie-straps inflates and deflates. Inviting the visitor to engage with their own state of being and sensorial experience in the space. (industrial fan, parachute, timed inflation/deflation)
